it's also absolutely mental!
I come across the theory semi-regularly at uni. The thickest end of the crazy-wedge is ecofeminism. Abso-bloody-lutely mentile.

I was in a relationship with a feminist once...
we broke up because we weren't very nice to each other but one flashpoint was this:
As we were often arguing I set my phone to make a strange whining sound whenever she called.
She went fucking berserk and told me it was a feminist issue because it reinforced the gender stereotype of the whining girlfriend.
She couldn't even see the irony.
