Sexism?I work part time in a shop and the customers we get are mainly female middle aged and up.
When i'm being asked questions by customers they use the following terms when talking to me:
darling
sweetheart
love
babe (mainly scouse middle aged women who say that)
or hun
where as my male co-worker is usually addressed with:
"OI!"
"YOU"
or just the phrase of what people want
Whenever this is brought to attention by us he usually responds with
"ITS BECAUSE I'M A WOMAN ISN'T IT?! GOD YOU'RE ALL THE SAME!"
