They most certainly did!Some Spitfires were painted PRU Pink, for use on low-level recon in conditions with cloud cover. It also reduced the apparent size of approaching aircraft in hazy or cloudy conditions, which is why U-boat hunters were painted pink too, any observers would think they had more time to dive than they actually did have.
The blue painted planes were used for low cloud/high altitude recon work.
The RAF used pink aircraft during Desert Storm.
Ships were/are painted Mountbatten Pink, which is slightly more mauve.
