I'm totally with you thereI am also a girl, and I don't get the whole marrying/kids thing.
I am totally for people being able to do what they want - ie. get married and have kids, if that's what they desire - but I believe that a lot of people just do it because they feel that's what they're meant to do in life, or they just let themselves get pressured into it by their friends, family, or boyfriend or girlfriend. More fool them, I suppose.
