Good for you!I'm glad you rejected the "advice" about getting pregnant. That is absolutely disgusting. The reason for bringing a child into the world should be that the two parents make a decision together that they want children - and that they have the means to afford them.
How horrible, if the child found out that its only reason for existence was bitchiness. Additionally - two parents who don't love each other and consequently split up anyway, will leave the child in a single-parent family. OK, yes I know there are many very good and capable single parents out there, and I respect them - but it should never be a deliberate decision to have a child in the knowledge that the parents will be unlikely to be together to raise it.

YepIt's always interesting to turn it round to see how it sounds - how about a bloke telling a woman he is infertile to trick her into getting pregnant with his baby? What would you call a man who did that sort of thing?
