Sex Toys
Lanternchikk asks "How about a vibrant and stimulating discussion on sex toys?" What do you use to get off, and has it ever gone wrong? And yes, we've heard that urban myth, thank you.

The 'stigma' isn't about men losing their 'V' plates
it's about women losing theirs, increasing the possibility that the man is spending his resources bringing up another man's child.
This is why in some cultures, the bedsheet from the honeymoon night is / was hung outside the house to prove that the woman was a virgin. Whereas the man would be encouraged to 'sow his wild oats' - presumably to give him a taste for The Sex which would then make him desire marriage, i.e. sex on tap (hollow laugh). And thus society / our species perpetuates itself.
We're basically all in thrall of our biology - women don't want men to be unfaithful, in case they father a child and have to divert resources to that child. Men don't want women to be unfaithful in case they have to raise a child who isn't of their genetic stock. These are very primeval impulses...
...the gays ? God knows - I often think they have the right idea, and good on them.

But mathematically it doesn't work out. Who are the men having premarital sex with before their virgin wives, as those woman would then be deemed ineligible there after. Whores? So if some woman are unable to marry as they are ineligible, then that decreases the amount of eligible woman for wives for the men. So that means some men go without ever having a wife. Because the population is half female, half male. This honestly baffled me. Is like to get my head around it.

The whole point behind a 'survival of the genes' attitude towards sex
as is demonstrated to this day, is that not all genes survive. Not all men will be 'worthy' enough to get the virgin bride. Not all women will possess the attributes that make men want to reproduce with them. For it to work out completely 50/50, this implies that *everyone* is getting some sex, and God knows any experience on this planet should prove that to be a fallacy !

Now I see what you're saying.
I found out recently why its more difficult to make a woman orgasm compared to a man. It all comes down to woman needing an attentive partner that is more likely to stick around for her during pregnancy and child rearing.
After wondering about that for some time!

That sounds dangerously close to evolutionary psychology.
Which is pretty much uniformly bollocks. Be wary.
