I'm a woman and they were both men. They weren't gay, as such, but they fancied a shag.I hang around with a lot of people who get pretty randy and don't let things like sexuality, age or being in couples get in the way of a spontaneous shag. They're not openly bisexual, but don't see the point in creating artificial mental divisions like gender.
Does that explain?
