ShopliftingWhen I was young and impressionable and on holiday in France, I followed some friends into a sweet shop and we each stole something. I was so mortified by this, I returned them.
My lack of French hampered this somewhat - they had no idea why the small English boy wanted to add some chews to the open box, and saw it as an attempt by a nasty foreigner oik to contaminate their stock. Not my best day.

We used to do this in my house oftenThere was always 1 or 2 unsecured Belkin 54g's around, so during a brief period when we didn't have wireless (for mother's laptop), sho just nicked that one all the time.
WEP keys can be cracked quite quickly, but it offers a basic hurdle for your average "let's just use the neighbours wireless for a bit" user.
WPA is just as easy to use and a hell of a lot more secure.
