My lodgerhas just given his very much younger brother (5 years old) an avocado and a £5 note for Christmas. He fails to see how this could be in any way construed as a less-than-ideal present for a kid who loves dressing up in superhero costumes and playing with cars and soldiers etc. As far as he's concerned, the avocado got eaten, therefore all is good.
Edit: I forgot to mention, he made me help box the avocado up and wrap it, so it would be "a surprise".
