Your first cigarette
To be honest, inhaling the fumes from some burning leaves isn't the most natural thing in the world.
Tell us about the first time. Where, when, and who were you trying to show off to?
Or, if you've never tried a cigarette, tell us something interesting on the subject of smoking.
Personally, I've never ever smoked a cigarette. Lung damage from pneumonia put me off.

I was in my teens.
I had been smoking pot for some time at that point. Somehow smoking tobacco seemed to be a natural enough extension of that.
I remember the first ones well- it was after we had smoked some pretty powerful weed. I loved them! I was bumming them off another teenager- I was 15 at the time- and in my stoned condition they were wonderful!
That is, until I puked out all the food I had just consumed as the result of munchies.

It happened.
In fact, it happened a fair bit.
Unfortunately it had some pretty heavy side-effects on me, some of which plagued me for years after I stopped smoking it. The worst one was that I had absolutely no depth perception until I was in my mid twenties- the world looked like a projection on a curved screen. This messed with my head pretty horribly.
I don't like the stuff AT ALL now. The last time I tried it was a little over a year ago, and it did even stranger things to me that I really didn't like.
