Personally, I've never ever smoked a cigarette. Lung damage from pneumonia put me off.

Yay, a coworker told me where the file is!@TRL...I don't get it - are you just converting between rectangular and polar coordinates? Or when you say "Unwrapping" do you mean you now have a "P" shape (the top half being the cylinder and the bottom half being the string that used to wrap around the other 90 degrees) and are trying to find the distance in x and y from the center of the circle to the end of the string (i.e. bottom of the "P")?
