Regardless of them being his kids, he was letting them down by jacking up in the first place, not to mention the sneaking around, and then his death due to the self-inflicted drug problem. That's what's selfish and 'inhuman', not someone saying that people don't become angels when they die.

My dad was a right cunt, he's been dead for nearly three years. I don't miss him, he was arrogant, vain, selfish, violent, racist, misogynist etc. Him being dead doesn't absolve him of any of that, and your mate being dead doesn't absolve him of his weaknesses, failings and selfishness either.

His kids probably miss him, yeah, but the reason he's dead is because he took the decision to fuck his own life up (and theirs too by extension).
