The Soundtrack of your Life
Che Grimsdale writes: Now that Simon Cowell's stolen Everybody Hurts, tell us about songs that mean something to you - good, bad, funny or tragic, appropriate or totally inappropriate songs that were playing at key times.

Watched the new FF13 preview vid on XBLive,
Leona Lewis has done a track for it, kinda fitted the feel of it too.
With me, I used to be awe-inspired with the SNES game Axelay, 2nd level background music, very good score to it.

I listened to the main "song" and I have to admit I shuddered...
IMHO I think Nobou Uematsu is unbeatable in the FF series, but then I can see that his often simple style might not work too well against their "MOST ADVANCED FF GAME SO FAR OMG!!" scheme.
Saying that, I haven't heard any of the actual soundtrack, just "My Hands", so maybe I'm not giving it a chance. ;)
EDIT: I've never heard the Axelay soundtrack but I've listened to remixes and enjoyed them.

The Axelay track is a mix of sort of urgency
with an overlaid opera choir, tis a goody.
