So why do millions watch Corrie & 'stenders each week when all they have to do is log on to t'interweb?

It's becauseIt's one of those niggles that really doesn't matter but gives everyone the opportunity to vent.
And people don't do it for soaps because nobody (including the writers and actors) cares all that much about the plot.
