Where is the strangest place you have slept?'lardaholics anonymous' was bored and started a new question over in the old question, so the least we can do is make it official. What with New Year's celebrations coming up, asking for the strangest place you have slept is nicely appropriate too.
In case you are wondering, Portsmouth beach in the fog. Very strange waking up to that.

edinbouroughin the space of one night i managed to fall asleep in a recording studio and a graveyard, having woken up in the recording studio for some reason possibly involving beer, i decided i no longer wanted to be there and left, only to realise that i couldnt get hold of the friend whose flat i was supposed to be staying at, so instead of sleeping indoors on her stairwell as would have been sensible i decided to have a kip in the graveyard over the road. far too many mosqitos! but at least it was summer :)
sleep in a church frequently too, but i do live there so it doesnt qualify as strange i suppose
