Strict ParentsI always thought my parents were quite strict, but I can't think of anything they actually banned me from doing, whereas a good friend was under no circumstances allowed to watch ITV because of the adverts.
This week's Time Out mentions some poor sod who was banned from sitting in the aisle seats at cinemas because, according to their mother, "drug dealers patrol the aisles, injecting people in the arm."
What were you banned from doing as a kid by loopy parents?

oh god..A good family friend is a raving fundamentalist Christian(it's the American way). She has three kids, between 10 and 13. They're not allowed to watch or listen to anything except Christian television and music. No Harry Potter, it's the spawn of Satan. She once went out and bought sheets because the only spare ones we had for her kids to sleep on were my old Harry Potter and Pokemon ones.
They're really nice people, but there's nothing I want more than to corrupt those damn kids.
