In Canada last yearwe visited a bear sanctuary at the top of a mountain. They were rearing 2 bear cubs in as close to natural environment as possible. After a presentation by one of the staff about the importance of them being raised in order to be relased and survive, one American (yep, again) asked "But do they do anything? Have you not taught them to do tricks?"
