It's not such a daft question.
Being Catholic doesn't equate to hostility to Britain; so if there're Irish and Scottish flags, there could just as easily be British ones, the Scottish reformation being just as old as the English.

While what you're saying may be true
the Catholic half of Glasgow is not renowned for its wholesale embrace of the flag of the Union, given what it symbolises, and the perception of its symbolism from both sides of the sectarian divide.
