while on exercise in Hawaii, in the club on the Navy base. I asked for a "lemon, lime and bitters", she said they didn't have any bitters. When I pointed out a bottle of Angostura Bitters behind her, she said "no, that's SALT FREE" (it was written on the side)as if "salt free" was the product, not that the product was salt free.I couldn't convince her, it took 2 other bar staff to sort it out.

"American" might just explain it, but no she wouldn't accept my word or the word of just one colleague, she needed to make extra sure.
