I've never tried to hit anyone else in the eye with my hair...I was once playing volleyball in a charity tournament. Had my very long hair up in a tail, spun quickly and hit myself in the eye. I'm fairly certain I cut my eye, as it teared for days, and everything was blurry for about a week or so.
It hurt. A lot.

My sympathyfor the same reason, if it's windy for the love of god don't decide it's a good day to put beads in the ends of your braids. I've never been so close to choking to death...
