Once when drivingmy knee did that funny locking up thing, so when I next pushed the clutch in, I extended my leg further than normal and went crack really loud. It was sore for about a week and now it grates and grinds whenever I bend my knee. If I'm kneeling down for whatever reason (fnarr), I can't push myself up off it.

Believe me - it's a good thing! I'm hypermobile to the point of immobility sometimes... including my hips and elbows, and when your hip 'clicks' it's bloody loud and a massive shock! It happened when i got out the car a few weeks ago & I couldn't walk properly for 2 days :(
The elbow one freaks people out though :D Seeing as it bends far past where it should, the wrong way.
