I did a similar thingI removed the cover of the telly, spliced the wires to the interal speaker with RCA input leads and put them into the back of my amp. My thinking was that the output of the speaker would be sent through the amp and out of the BIG speakers. End result? Turned the amp on and then the telly and the amp promply caught fire!
