Terrible ParentingMy parents used to lock my brother, sister and I in the car while they went to the pub for a "quick one" after work. This quick one might last several hours, during which they would send bottles of Indian Tonic Water to us by way of refreshment.
On one particularly cold evening, bored stupid, we lit a small bonfire on the back seat of the car using the cigarette lighter and the contents of the glove box. We owe our lives to passing winos. (BTW: Please no more Maddie or Jesus gags, they've been done.)

Watch Your Language When You're Driving....In the local multi storey (two levels woo but above the shopping mall thing), I was waiting for someone elderly in a Micra to finish doing a 4000 point turn to get out of the parking space, when my 5 year old son pipes up "Get out of the way you old twat!"
Ah.
I said "Thomas that's a bad word don't use it again" and fair play he hasn't. But what else have I said that he's waiting to repeat at an inappropriate moment?
