This is a question "Well, that escalated quickly"

Xavier the Happy Bear says: Tales of when it all kicked off. A combination of Xmas, old family woes and a metric fuckton of alcohol lit the fuse for my family recently. What caused shit to 'go down' for you and what was the damage?

I can see it would be a problem.
But wouldn't Lloyd's building be worse?

Or maybe that would be better if you're claustrophobic.

Did you see they've put a 40mph limit and cameras on the Westway? in 1992 We used to get over a ton on there. Spoilsports.

never got lloyds jobs.
my controller hated me. south of the river at 5.30 on a Friday? no, you cunt, i live in Essex. i did a year in 1994/5 - fun times. did you ever see the guy with the 'baby in topbox' sticker? this was in the days where despatchers used to carry a baseball bat velcroed to the frame to 'remonstrate' with arsehole drivers. ah, happy days...

Don't remember seeing him, but I was before that.
I did 4 years in the late 80s/early 90s.

Fun times, but dead end as a dodo. The internet seems to have killed it now, I still ride a bike in London, but hardly see any despatch riders.

It was a pun on "scared of lifts" implying that you were homosexual for comedy effect.
Clearly my attempts fell flat, much like the shoes I'd implied you were wearing.
