Even if you had to pay the fine, at least you caused them trouble by calling in the police, disrupting the dinner party etc. And the phone thing is even better!

I got clamped once
Called the police, as our company was (and still is)part of the Post Office. "Impeding the Queens mail" is actually an offence in the statute books, so big Mr Super- Bollocks looked about 2 foot tall once we had ascertained that that was an actual law, but had much fun watching him take it off, and saying "Mind the paint, monkey boy".

I drove for the Royal Mail, and in every van, 17 tonner and artic is a letter, stamped and franked.
Or at least Plod think there is.
In every depot there's a sign: "You are not exempt from speed cameras. You may not kill pedestrians. Do not hit anything."

Apart from that...ever been street racing in a 430hp 44 tonne HGV? In Central London? Fuck, what a rush.
