Nothing exciting....but when I left Japan, I took all my savings out in Tokyo and bummed around all day looking for somewhere I could buy Traveller's Cheques. In Japan people seem to always carry enough money to put a deposit on a small house - due to the fact they only recently have invented an ATM which stays open after the bank shuts and they refuse to use credit cards.....
I blogged, I am so so sorry.
Point is. I felt safer there in that city with a mega-wodge of cash, and in most of Asia and Russia, than I do in Glasgow with a fiver.
