Mothers are evil at times...My Dad had a real old, but extremely impressive-looking Hi-F- stack system. It had everything; seperate Amp, tape deck, radio deck, actual deck (for ye olde vinyls) and a load of other cool stuff with 2 huge speakers. He said I could have it.
She gave it away.
Then there was my Spectrum. She tried to swap it with a friend's one that didn't work. I saw right through it and sadly at the time I was too young to see the evil intent, cause I'd love to shout at her for that one. I got it back though.
Mothers; they can be real evil at times. Love 'em, though.

I don't get ..the bit about her trying to swap your Spectrum for one that didn't work. I'm assuming she was trying to mess with your head somehow.
