This is a question Thrown away: The stuff you loved and lost.

Smash Wogan writes, "we all love our Mums, but we all know that Mums can be cunts, throwing out our carefully hoarded crap that we know is going to be worth millions some day."

What priceless junk have you lost because someone just threw it out?

Zero points for "all my porn". Unless it was particularly good porn...

My cat
Yes, really.

Somewhere around our 15th move (our family was slightly unstable when I was young) he started acting a bit odd. Pissing in the corner, attacking people, etc.

So I came home one day, aged 11, to find that my delightful parents had taken my big softy of a cat, Foggy, who used to curl up on my lap and try and get into bed with me at night, to the vet to be 'put to sleep'.

"He was old, he was getting senile". No he wasn't. Perhaps if you'd found a house you were happy with straight away, instead of moving umpteen times, he wouldn't have gone mental.

Too true.
Cats a very terretorial creatures. Infact Im sure a lot of cats would be more traumatised by moving house than getting new owners.
Constantly moving them around doesnt do them much good.

Poor foggy!
