I did that for years..
..as an impoverished mentalist who just didn't care much about himself. I used to smoke joint ends I'd find on the floor just as they were.
Went for my first std/hep/HIV check up earlier in the year and was given the all-clear. I feel lucky..

The exclamation marks make me nervous.
I don't ascribe any luck to anyone looking after me. Life so far has proved to be meaningless, although I take comfort in having a conscience and hope others do too.

I find a bit of conflict
in having a conscience and seeing life as meaningless - would be interesting to see what people think about that over on OT.
