ahh, but I'm old(ish).Anyway, the nice thing about the method I do use is that you'll always know if you're likely to be late [insert detailed explanation of consistent luteal phase length here] - if your cycle length varies then it's due to factors occurring before ovulation, so if you're keeping track of ovulation, you'll know.
