My Latin teacher refused to buy a TV because "it's all rubbish and filth on TV these days".

Many years later he got caught being a nonce. Go figure.

Funnily enough
my latin teacher at prep school was caught for being a bit noncy as well. I guess it's par for the course in that particular discipline.
