This is a question Tightwads

There's saving money, and there's being tight: saving money at the expense of other people, or simply for the miserly hell of it.

Tell us about measures that go beyond simple belt tightening into the realms of Mr Scrooge.

Can I be a real pedant?
Can I?
Ok, I will...
The aluminium from which tinfoil is made is actually really expensive and environmentally very damaging to mine.

But then I suppose your mate could just recycle the tinfoil instead, if he's taking it back home anyway.

...
He's recycling it already...

I know
But Fuckarma seems to object to his mate directly reusing the same piece of it. So if his mate puts the one piece in the recycling and uses a fresh piece, he can eat his sandwich with almost as clear a conscience and without upsetting Fuckarma.

Edit: Yes, I realise I wasn't very clear with my first reply. I am in favour of this much more immediate method of recycling, as I've been bringing in my sandwiches in same plastic bag for a number of months now.

Ah...
But upsetting Fuckarama is a bonus that noone'd want to forego...

(With apologies to Fuckarama, of course. I just couldn't let the opportunity pass...)

I'd not thought of the environmental angle!

I stand corrected!
