I live in France though, so there is little in the way of official options plus the area I live in is populated by asshole farmers and hunters who have little regard for animal life.
She is quite heavily pregnant too. My only hope is that she has hidden herself away somewhere to have her puppies alone, and will come back. A few people have suggested this may be the case, but they also say she should have returned for food long before now.

Not alwaysBitches can go a long time without food when they can't leave their puppies.
Are there any logical places to beat the bushes and call for her?
