Cos if you've got a house...... like most Daily Mail readers do, and you paid £2.50 for it in 1964, it's now worth about 8 quadjillion times what you paid for it and you're rich for having done nothing. This applies to a great number of people over 40 - and that's why they love it. Sure, there are exceptions, but why else do people get so upset about inheritance tax?
