If you want sunny, hot weather you have to go abroad somewhere.If that place is as backward as Egypt I think staying in a hotel complex would be preferable to mixing with bronze-age savages.
Personally I can't stand the heat so tend to travel to civilised places with plenty of bars and friendly locals.

Who'd want to go and see some goat-herders and bazaars?Honestly, I probably would explore even somewhere I didn't really fancy hanging out but I can just-about understand why people just want somewhere hot to do nothing at all all day. It's not much different to spending a week pottering about the house and garden having a few barbecues but with better weather really -- not exciting but not horrific.
