Well, I was going to submit this as an answer, but I'm not sure it qualifies:A few trips later, I headed into town, and was getting properly filthy looks left, right and centre. People hate me 'cos I'm beautiful, but this was even more than normal, and it was only when I got back that I realised I'd been wandering around a town centre in central Ireland in a t-shirt advertising, in large, clear letters, one of my favourite bands:
