My most treasured possession
What's your most treasured possession? What would you rescue from a fire (be it for sentimental or purely financial reasons)?
My Great-Uncle left me his visitors book which along with boring people like the Queen and Harold Wilson has Spike Milligan's signature in it. It's all loopy.
Either that or my Grandfather's swords.

Chin Up POD!
Might never happen! and other pointless platitudes designed to annoy rather than comfort.
You never know, working in proximity may help the situation. But try not to let it get you down, I met my Mrs in completely unexpected circumstances when I was totally hung up on someone else and it's been four years next friday and we own a house together. So crazy things do happen.
