
What's your most treasured possession? What would you rescue from a fire (be it for sentimental or purely financial reasons)?
My Great-Uncle left me his visitors book which along with boring people like the Queen and Harold Wilson has Spike Milligan's signature in it. It's all loopy.
Either that or my Grandfather's swords.

I too have a blue bear, who is my favourite and is also called "Blue Ted". I did take him on holiday with me, having your luggage checked and a teddy bear comes out isn't as embarassing when you're about 6.
Mine even has a little red scarf that was made for him by an elderly relative who's long dead. Last I saw him I think he's on top of my wardrobe, but there's so much dust, cobwebs and probably spiders up there that I daren't disturb this little eco system.
