This is a question Twattery

Nigella Pussycat says: Tell us about utter twats doing remarkably twatty things. Or have you ever done something really twattish to a friend, loved one or pet? In summary: Twats

I may be out of line here
But i drive a little Ford, and there is nothing more infuriating to me than some oversized Chelsea Tractor using the "PAY AT PUMP" at the petrol station to fill up, then swaggering into the kiosk to pay! i always use these as im too tight to carry cash and so it's easier for me (and everyone else) if i fill up there, remove my card and continue on my merry way.

I hear you...

That properly boils my piss.

It's so much more convenient - why don't more people do it?

(Because they're selfish wankspanners who want to waste my valuable time, that's why).

Because they don't work with fuel cards
You'd think it wouldn't be hard to add an extra wee bit of code so you can type in your mileage, but there you go.

Morrisons pumps work beautifully with my chip fuel cards. They even invite me to give my mileage, and offer a receipt.

Oh man, I once had to wait a whole 45 seconds longer at a shop.
Imagine it.

First world problems was a couple of weeks ago.

Sure, I'll sit and wait for another
pump, leaving one empty just in case some more deserving driver wants to save himself the minute and a half I'd take to go and pay in the shop.

Oh, did I say more deserving driver? I meant half wit.

Jesus
how often do you buy petrol?

There's a very, VERY good reason for this
Pay-At-Pump, at least up here, has a limit of £100. This would give me about 2/3rds of a tank of petrol- it topped £150 a tank during that tanker driver hysteria a couple of weeks back.

So unless I'm topping up a half-empty tank I can't use Pay-At-Pump. Or have to pay once, then put the card back in and start the whole cycle again- which takes more time.

I'd just like to say that I don't have a chelsea tractor, just an (old) car with a big engine and correspondingly large fuel tank. Owning a CT is a good indicator of twattishness from the off.

And they'll
Invariably use their card anyway...
