Some people say:
If you don't believe in ghosts you will never see a ghost. The reason for this is that you will give any and all unusual sights or activities a perfectly rational explanation. If you believe in ghosts you will simply say that it was a ghost without looking for the perfectly rational explanation.

I don't believe in ghosts so I guess I will never see one.........and therefore can't contribute to this QOTW......er.....

I kept seeing a man pass from my hall to lounge
... as did my lodgers when I mentioned it one day to them.

Eventually I realised that when certain lorries went past, the multiple reflection made it look like a man-sized object was walking through. Of course, this happened so quickly that by the time you'd noticed it, it had gone.

Sheer luck that I happened to be staring at the right wall wondering whether I should redecorate when a large enough lorry went past to reproduce it.
