Deja Vu
This happens to me quite alot. Its an odd feeling but more often that I can trace the deja vu back to a dream. Even though most often if it is a dream in which I am doing something fairly usual, there are often links to that vague emotional stain that gets left behind when you remember a dream.
Some of my friends have confessed similar events, anyone else?

i don't know about emotional stains
but when i was younger i often had dreams where i'd be doing something fairly mundane, like shopping with my parents. Then months would pass and i'd be out shopping with my dad and things would be exactly as they were in my dream.

twas a bit weird

I get this occasionally
I've always thought it was down to your brain taking the current event and committing it to memory in the wrong please, chronologically speaking. So, something happens, your brain dumps it in "last year's" memory so to speak, and you remember doing it a year ago. Or something.

Sometimes, when I'm particularly drunk
I have trouble figuring out which of my memories of the night before actually happened, and which were a dream

I get this
fairly regularly, where I remember conversations or situations with very particular surroundings, especially when I've not been there before.

I've noticed this halfway through a conversation recently, and instead of continuing the conversation as per the Deja Vu, I've changed the subject to see what happened.

Nothing much did and sadly I was expecting an eXistenZ style repeat until I got the right words :(
