At my Junior Schoolas I imagine was the case at every junior school there was a brief flirtation with ouijja boards etc.
This ended when a disabled student claimed she had been bitten by a ghost.
The vicar gave an assembly on it and everything.

The monks at my Secondary School were terrified of Ouija Boards.We got a big sermon once a year on how EVIL and DANGEROUS they were, and how many spooky things would happen if you dabbled in them.
I don't think anybody cared enough to try.
