The only time I've won QotW - it's the top answer in my profile -it didn't get so much as a whisper in the newsletter.
I once had a line from a QotW story mentioned (it was the one about a Stoke shopkeeper complaining about hard-to-understand decimal currency in the early 1990s), but even then I wasn't credited.
