So, my fab book is discounted on principle but because 'they' haven't said the same thing about computers then here you are?
Well here's me TELLING you that staring into a very bright light may well unhinge the old sleeping mechanism.
When I used to work nights in a mail room, we had a trick if you were drowsy. This would only be undertaken in desperation at about 4:20a.m. after 5 or 6 vending machine 'custom-blend' 'coffees'.
- Place your nose on the photocopier glass and press the button. (N.B. DO NOT try to use the auto-feed!)
Your brain now thinks it is morning and wakes up. Apparently.

I rarely need to do things to keep me awake, but heres a thing that really works.
Put on a different pair of shoes
I have no idea why it works, but its instant wide awake
