Neither of your posts say anything.I think most know we are "tools of DNA" meaning we feel (in general) some reproductive urge.
I think most know we are, in some way, slaves to our upbringing.
I would also like to point out that, in some modern theory at least, the urge to reproduce can extend to ideas also -- I think it's something like the memetic theory.
So, on reading both your posts I want to know what _you_ want to do? That would apear to be the question.
