I witnessed a crime
Freddy Woo writes, "A group of us once staggered home so insensible with drink that we failed to notice someone being killed and buried in a shallow grave not more than 50 yards away. A crime unsolved to this day."
Have you witnessed a crime and done bugger all about it? Or are you a have-a-go hero?
Whatever. Tell us about it...

I think
if the Police showed more reasonable judgement to generally law-abiding folks, instead of haranguing motorists mercilessly, they would get a lot more co-operation.
My dad unfailingly mutters "Police appeal for witnesses" when he sees a near miss or an incident while driving. He's bitter because he was done for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone on an empty road at 3am while taking my in-labour mum to hospital. He hasn't had much time for the cops since then.
