Homebrewing tipI have done some home brewing and in the process acquired many books on how to make the booze. One of these suggests an alternative to an apple press, I think my parents did this back in the 70's.
Using a bucket with a lid that can be firmly secured make a small hole in the lid. The you can use a paint stirrer, one of the big ones that's powered by a an electric drill to mush up your apples.
