I've solved the problem of painting awkward areas such as the ceiling
along with the problem of ensuring masculinity is maintained throughout...
A couple of years ago I invested £300 into an industrial paint sprayer. Any paint job itself takes about 30 mins of prep, 5 mins of spraying, and 10 mins of cleanup. Any you carry a "gun" whilst doing the deed!
I now LOVE painting!
