browserI had a similar experience. I was sleeping on a flight from Zurich to Bombay, and woke up to find that my wife was no longer sitting next to me. I looked around, and found that she had moved to the seat on the opposite side of the aisle, one row forward. I must have had something important to say to her, because I stretched my leg to tap her on the shoulder with my big toe, to wake her up. As soon as I had tapped, I looked up to see my wife coming down the aisle, returning from the lavatory. The old Indian woman whom I had actually tapped, with my toe, while she was asleep, was not amused.
