TVP is _not_ cheap!When I was a student I wanted to eat TVP because it would mean I could cook it badly and still not have the problems associated with badly-cooked meat. However, I soon discovered that TVP cost about 5 times as much as meat.
If/when TVP is actually priced as it ought to be, being a product of a bacterium acting on industrial waste, I'll probably buy it. Until that day I'll stick to the flesh of dead animals.
